NZD/USD Technical Analysis: Bumping over descending trendline, bidders looking to hang on

The last twenty-four hours see the NZD/USD trading firmly into the high side, lifting into the 0.6650 zone as the US Dollar slumps across the broader FX space, and the Kiwi finds itself incredibly overextended above recent intraday highs.

NZD/USD, M15

Looking back over the past six weeks, the Kiwi has fully broken out of a wedge pattern, but still sees plenty of road left to travel before returning to September's 0.6700 critical level.

NZD/USD, H4

On the Daily candlesticks, the Kiwi has seen a break of a major descending trendline, but remains far below the 200-day moving average, and buyers will be looking to keep the NZD/USD propped up above the 50-day moving average near 0.6590.
