Spanish borrowing costs fall at 3-year bond auction

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Spanish Tesoro Público held a debt auction on Thursday during which it sold a total of sells 2064 million euros worth of bonds maturing in 2016. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.3, compared to 3.3 at the last auction.

The 3-year bonds were sold at an average yield of 2.225%, compared with 2.636% seen at the previous auction.
