US: Initial Jobless Claims fell to 292K

FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) -According to the Labour Department, the Americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits fell by 31K last week to a seasonally adjusted 292K in the week ended September 6, below expectations at 330K and coming from 323K (revised) in the previous print.

Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, dropped by 73K to a seasonally adjusted 2.871 million in the week ended August 30 vs. 2.944 million in the previous week (revised).
