Greece’s PM Tsipras says still open to a compromise

FXStreet (Córdoba) - Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras addressed the nation once again on TV as the country gears up for a referendum on austerity measures.

Tsipras said that he is still open to a compromise in order to end any talk of Greece leaving the Eurozone. He assured Greece is seeking a sustainable deal and a solution that will keep them in the Eurozone.

He reiterated a ‘NO’ vote is not a rupture with Europe and austerity only serves to further the crisis.

Minutes later, via Twitter he said a new bailout must include debt restructuring.
