United States Chicago Fed National Activity Index climbed from previous -0.42 to -0.15 in April

The US labor department data released on Thursday showed the first time applications for unemployment benefits rose to 274K, bearing the estimate of 271K in the last week, although the four-week average continued to remain at a 15-year low.
