Wall Street opens the week with mixed numbers

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - After recovering from early losses, the US stocks market closed Monday with mixed numbers as investors were trading in a quiet day with no big economic events or earning news on the table. The S&P performed its fifth decline in the last 6 sessions.

The Dow Jones declined 5.60 points or 0.04% on the day to closed at 15,419.91. The S&P 500 eased 1.95 pts or 0.12% to 1,689.47. And the Nasdaq Composite advanced 9.84 pts or 0.27% to 3,669.95.

In Greece, Germany’s Der Spiegel wrote that the Bundesbank believes international creditors will have to agree to a new bailout for Greece in early 2014, notes Macro Strategy Analysts J. Reid and C. Tan at Deutsche Bank.
