AUD/NZD hits fresh weekly lows at 1.0321

FXStreet (Mumbai) - AUD/NZD trimmed losses from the Asian session and remains in red mainly as the New Zealand dollar outperformed its Oz counterpart on upbeat business confidence numbers.

AUD/NZD holds below 1.0400 levels

Currently, the AUD/NZD cross trades lower by -0.16% at 1.0340 levels, retreating from fresh one-week lows posted at 1.0321 levels. The cross in AUD/NZD edged lower, mainly driven by gains in the New Zealand dollar after the ANZ Business Confidence index rebounded from 30.4 in December to a seven month high of 34.4 in February. On the other end, the Aussie trades flat despite recovery in oil prices and a weaker US dollar.

At the moment, AUD/USD trades flat at 0.7802 levels, while NZD/USD trades 0.19% higher at 0.7545 levels.

AUD/NZD Technical Levels

The pair has an immediate resistance at 1.0376 levels, above which gains could be extended to 1.0402 levels. On the flip side, support is seen at 1.0321 levels, from here it to below 1.0291 levels.

EUR/CHF has bottomed – Nomura

Research Analysts at Nomura, favours going long on EUR/CHF, expecting the pair to move towards 1.10 by end-September.
